Bvlgari Assioma Women’s Watch AAP36D2C2L/12 Review
Written by: Laura Barber
In over one hundred years, Bvlgari has built a reputation for elegance, sophistication and luxury that few can rival. To this high standard, the Bvlgari Assioma Women’s Watch AAP36D2C2L/12 is no exception. Sophisticated in style, luxurious in detail and elegant in looks, this exquisite timepiece will bring out the posh in any woman whose wrist it adorns.
With round brilliant-cut diamonds set into the bezel and worked into the dial as hour markers, the first thing that you’ll notice about this watch is the bling. If you’ve got a taste for diamonds, and are willing to pay for a lot of them, then this is definitely an option that will satisfy your palate. While these jewels add luster, the true beauty of this Bvlgari masterpiece is in its more subtle features. The 18-karat pink gold case and pink mother-of-pearl dial complement each other perfectly. Standing in contrast to these softer, rosier colors, the black of the satin bracelet allows this piece to make a bold statement, while the satin itself keeps that statement refined.
Other notable features include:
• Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal
• Quartz movement
• Water-resistant up to 99 feet (30 meters)
• Screw in case back
• Swiss made
There are so many good things about this watch. It makes a beautiful addition to any jewelry collection, is high quality, and exudes class. I’m also pretty sure that ladies everywhere will agree with me when I say that actually owning this watch would make you feel like a princess. Unfortunately for most of us commoners, it may only be actual princesses who can afford it. Listed on the Bvlgari website for $38,900, it is one of the highest priced pieces in the Assioma collection. In fact, this is such a high ticket item that before they will even consider processing your transaction, you have to fill out a pre-order form and speak to a customer service representative.
If you’re still having trouble deciding whether or not this is the watch for you, let me help by laying out some of the pros:
• Stunning craftsmanship
• Scratch and water resistant
• Will make you feel like royalty
And some of the cons:
• Very expensive
• Won’t survive if submerged in water for too long—it shouldn’t take baths or go swimming with you.
If you’re bank account can handle it, and you decide to take the plunge and make the big purchase, I recommend buying from Bvlgari themselves. Even though you might want to look around for a better deal, when you’re dealing with this much money, being overly cautious will probably be in your best interest. Since the AAP36D2C2L/12 is a product of considerable value, there are more than likely scammers out there who will try to pass off a replica as the real thing, especially online. While there are some websites that sell the watch at a lower price (around $30,000), the discount isn’t really significant enough to take that risk. However, if you know for sure that the online company you decide to purchase from is legit, then go ahead and save yourself some cash.
