The Bvlgari Diagono Chronograph Mens Watch DG42BGVDCH looks like it belongs on Batman’s suit rather than a businessman’s wrist.  With black rubber accented by 18kt yellow gold, this watch combines functionality with a touch of elegance, making it the perfect tool for man and superman alike.

Bvlgari’s approach to watch design runs like clockwork (if you’ll pardon the pun).  Because Bvlgari follows its products from from research to development to marketing, you can be sure that the company keeps a keen eye on its watches from beginning to end which ensures quality down the last, gold-indexed detail.

Just as Bvlgari prides itself on mixing flawless Italian design with the technical excellence of Swiss watch making, this men’s watch is both functional and fashionable.  With as many gizmos as any man—bat or otherwise—could wish for, this watch proves that style doesn’t have to come at the cost of comfort and wearability.  Self winding, water resistant up to one hundred feet, and with a built-in date function, this chronograph watch embodies the Bvlgari determination to ensure that craftsmanship and utility fit into the classic Bvlgari like a hand in a finely-tailored glove.

The piece is also fairly durable, ensuring that this watch will continue to look good after many its adventures both in and out of the boardroom.  With scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a 42 hour power reserve, and as most Bvlgari retailers offer a two year warranty for worst-case scenarios, Bvlgari has you covered.

The lack of numerals may make this watch difficult to read.

Feature Summary

  • Rubber and gold links provide durability and comfort
  • Chronograph for hours, minutes and seconds
  • Date function
  • Water Resistant to 100 feet/30 meters
  • 18kt yellow gold
  • Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal

A few drawbacks…

  • Though somewhat water resistant, this watch is not a perfect fit for divers.  Though the watch can weather snorkeling and swimming activities, deep sea diving is out of this watch’s depth.
  • Readibilty may be an issue for some.  Pair the faint tic marks with the three chronographic dials and this watch could be a nuisance for those prefer a simple, classic watch.

The Bvlgari Diagono Chronograph Mens Watch DG42BGVDCH is a great watch for a man who’s looking for functionality and style in one convenient piece.  Pair the craftsmanship of Bvlgari that a millionaire can appreciate (you’d probably have to be one to afford it) and the durability that can survive even Batman’s nightlife, and you have a timepiece that should belong to the realm of fiction helping you tackle the realities of your life.
